Sun salute mandatory in India Schools?

Interesting article in today's International Herold Tribune. Similar to the prayer in public schools, India might make the Salute to the Sun pose mandatory in schools.

It's not similar to prayer in school at all. Yoga and pranayama are not religious activities. It would be more like mandatory exercise and breathing in school.

well its better than mandatory pledging allegiance to a flag when you don't believe in what it stands for.
